Current Favourites!!

Hi my loves!!! So it's been a while, I have had to take a break from blogging but I'm back and excited to share blog posts with you all again! :)

I thought I would start with my current favourites since I'm too late for November favourites.

Paperchase Cats Note Book

I bought this from PaperChase and it's a note book with lined pages which I love to carry around with me to make day to day notes. I prefer these to planners because I like to write random notes and lists which I regularly update.  I make wish lists, makeup collection lists, order lists, etc.

 They sell different designs with glitter on them if you're in to that. I also like to decorate my note book the way others decorate their planners. 

Essence 06 Barely There

I have been obsessed with this lipstick ever since I purchased it at the Wilko store. As far as I'm aware, they only sell Essence through their website and at Wilko stores within the UK. I have tried and lipliner of theirs but I was't keen on the shade, but this colour did grab my attention and I have not put it down. It's that my lips but better shade. and it's so creamy and just under £3 which is amazing considering the quality of it. I will definitely be picking up some more as backups. I believe this lipstick is from their new line. Go check them out!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit

I purchased this a while ago from Cult Beauty and I have loved using the banana shade(top middle) to set my under eye after applying a concealer. I since I have not had the time to experiment with the other shades I will update you soon on those.

Mac Pro Paint Pot Layin' Low

At the moment I have packed most of my makeup away and wear minimal makeup these days. This is why I have been loving this Mac Paint pot. It matches my eyelid colour and makes me look more awake and also primes them so I don't get greasy eyelids. I also use this under any eyeshadow as a primer. Most people like to use Painterly or Soft Ochre by Mac But this shade works well with my NC30 C3 Skin Tone.

Complexion Blending Brush from Eco Tools

I bought this set from Boots and I have loved this brush to set my under eye and T-zone with the Anastasia Contour Kit and it works wonders because it's so soft and gentle.

Nyc High Definition Liquid Eyeliner896 deep brown

I have loved this because it has helped me achieve the winged out look which I was afraid of trying for so many years. Ever since I can remember, I have used Kohl to line my eyes and I never did a flick or winged out look. I was also intimidated by the gel liners and the liquid liners and watching youtube tutorials on how to achieve the perfect winged out liner did not help me at all.

Then I tried this which is actually like a sharp felt tip pen. I practiced and practiced and well....I'm not a pro but it looks good. This one is very easy to use for those who are new to this style.  It hasn't dried on me and it has enabled to me to develop my own technique. Also for the price, you can't go wrong. I purchased this from Superdrug

Shavata Eyebrow Pencil dawn and dusk

I have had this pencil for years and I swear by this. Again this keeps me looking awake and its soft and easy to use. I like the fact that it has a different shade on each side. I use the lighter side to do my inner brow and the darker side for the outer brow

Rimmel 1000 Kisses Contouring Pencil in 011 spice

This is another Lip product that I have fallen in love with. When I originally bought it I wasn't too sure on the shade but now I'm hooked. I like to wear it on its own to give a matte effect. If I don't moisturise my lips before, it can be quite drying. So I like to use the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hr cream on my lips when I get out of the shower and I'm ready to apply the liner soon after.

Birthday Haul!!

So I know this is a bit late but I was really happy with all my gifts and all of my finds so I want to share it with you all! I hope you all enjoyed your holidays as I did! 

Every year  I like to treat myself to a birthday gift and this year, I picked up this lovely Steve Madden  cross body bag from TkMaxx. It was on sale for £29.99. I chose this because of the casual style and the colour; I have been wearing a lot a grey coloured clothing so I figured I would buy a bag to match. 

I just had to pick up this socks from New Look, I love things like this. :)  I like to be different and I don't like sticking to your bog standard black or white socks.

I popped into La Senza while the hubby "patiently" waited outside and I saw this at the till and had to pick it up because it's sooo me lol I love the print and I love anything shiny!  :)  This was £9.00 reduced to £4.50.

This is my favourite perfume, 212 Sexy by Carolina Herrera, it has a sweet smell and I needed another so I bought this set from John Lewis, I loved the tin which I am now using on my dresser.

Just a simple TShirt from New Look, nice to pair with jeans, I have seen them in so many different colours and they are not badly priced either. Go check them out! 

Whenever I go to the Next sale, I usually only find one item which I LOVE and this is the one for this year. Reduced to £20 from £35 I loved it and picked it up in black and my sister in law gifted this one to me. :) They and long and super sparkly.

This was my Birthday cake made by my husbands grandma. It's my favourite as it's jammed packed with fruits and nuts!

This jumper was gifted to me and it's from Dash, I love it, It's super comfortable and flattering and I don't have anything of this colour.

Another Gift was this amazing piece I just adore how it looks on me because it doesn't make me look fat which a lot of them do. I must say it looks so much better in person than on camera. I'll be saving this for a special occasion. This is from Marks and Spencer. 

This was also gifted to me the mini perfume is too cute, the fragrance is grown up which I like.

Since getting a kitten I have felt the need to use room sprays as the smell can get a bit too much. so I bought these two for £2.00 each. The first one was from Marks and Spencer and was reduced from £7.50 which is a price I would never pay for. 

I also purchased another candle from Glade but this time I decided to remove the outer sticker, because I feel that it makes the candle look cheap. I left the sticker on the pink candle so that you can see the difference. They are both Glade candles which I purchased from Sainsburys and Wilko. The Chocolate has a nicer shape than the pink which will be nice to use after the candle is finished.

I think it is important when buying a candle, to choose a good jar with the intention of using it after for storing jewellery, makeup, perfume. 

This is an example of how I use my empty candle jars. This one is from Primark. I might add a cute ribbon around it to give it that special touch.
