What's in my Makeup Bag!

I’m travelling to Dubai with the hubby soon and I was updating my makeup essentials for the trip and I thought I’d share it with you. I’m constantly on the hunt for ways of reducing the size of my collection by finding cute miniatures and I love watching videos and reading about what you guys carry in your bags!

Lemon Aid eyeprimer by Benefit

I have had this for ages, it’s perfect if your eyelids are a bit dark and you need a bit of lightening before adding your eyeshadow and it really holds the makeup on very well, no greasy eyes. I even use it on its own.

Mineral Foundation with SPF15 in colour Almond and Golden by SheerCover

This leaves you looking natural and flawless and I tend to use very little, I actually think that a bit of shine on the face is better and more natural than looking like a powder pot!

Duo Concealer in Medium/Tan by SheerCover

I hardly ever use concealer but I like to have this one handy just in case I have too much redness and this is perfect it’s so creamy and smooth blends in perfectly. Highly recommend this!

HighBrow Lifting pencil by Benefit

I apply this very lightly under the end of my eyebrows to lift, blending in making sure that area is well moisturised before or else it can look cakey and flaky.

Naked Skin Beauty Balm with SPF20 by Urban Decay

This is a new purchase and my review is on another post of mine. Please have a read and tell me what your opinions are on this cream!

Eyebrow Fixing Pencil in Transparent by New CID Cosmetics

Think of Vaseline but in a more solid form, this keeps my unruly eyebrows tamed.   I checked the product online for you guys in case you were interested, they have updated it and I will post the link down below. I purchased this from the newidstudios in London. (where I had a makeover and photo shoot done and the company launched their own makeup brand.)

Lip Balm in Summer Fruit by EOS

I just love the cute shape and colour, and it smells divine!! The one thing I dislike about balms is that if you apply it too much, it can look cakey and white on the lips. Not with this one, you can go over and over and over your lips with it without risking the creamy white look! And they say it’s 95% organic!

Bronzing powder in Amber Bronze by Estee Lauder

This was a sample I was give years ago and I use it on my face to achieve a nice bronzed glow. I think a bronzing powder is essential to enhance your tan on holiday!

Lash Definition Smudgeproof Mascara in Black by Liz Earle

I like this one because it doesn’t go on too thickly and really separates the lashes nicely.

Sheer Lip Gloss in the colour Mallow by Liz Earle

I hate sticky lipgloss and this one is great, it melts into the skin love it because it’s natural.

Moisture Colour Lipstick in Bright Coral by Autograph (Marks and Spencer Collection)

I haven’t been brave enough to wear this as a full on lippy so I use it as a tint and it works wonders. I just dab it on the lips and massage with my finger. I recently discovered the Marks and Spencer collection and I love it, it’s affordable but looks expensive.

Double Ended Pencil in Dawn and Dusk by Shavata

This has to be my favourite product and I cannot do with out it. I use it to fill in my eyebrows because I have a few gaps and it still looks natural. It lasts for ages.

Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil in White by Givenchy

I use this in the lower inner rim of my eye to brighten my eyes when they look dull.

And finally my blusher brush, foundation brush, eyelash curler and henna tint lip stick from Morocco
